I am just curious on whether or not The Academy will be viewed as Clandestine or Irregular as the courses will be open to Cowans or will there be general info course for all to take. Also, tiled ones that will be for Brethern.

Dear Druidhealer,

Well, "irregular" and "clandestine" both refer to Masonic Grand Lodges. Irregular means that the Body is not regular in origin, or practice. Clandestine is usually applied to an unrecognized body which might be regular, like the Grand Lodge of France or irregular such as The Grand Orient of France.

The Freemason Academy is not a Masonic Body and as such cannot be so described. However all of the Mentors who are working on courses for the academy are from Jurisdictions which are both regular and recognized.

If you read the home page you will see that we have segregated the courses into those which deal with the History and the public side of Freemasonry which are available to the public as well as Freemasons. We do not see giving people who are interested in Freemasonry actual facts in place of the garbage that is being peddled on the Anti-Mason sites as allowing Cowens into the Fraternity.

Unfortunately there is no such thing as having any forum on the Internet tyled. We transmit out messages on the airwaves and there are technologies out their which can intercept these messages and do so on a regular basis. What we do is to restrict access to the Courses which deal with the Ritual, Philosophy and practice of Freemasonry.

You know, the man who introduced me to Freemasonry told me he was a reforming Druid. He had finally gotten to the point where he only worshipped shrubs and bushes. Then again he also had a Masonic Raven. Go Figure!
